This is so beautiful!! every detail!
its beautiful and it makes sense. if it werent for the fact that the only time both our kids + their partners reliably come home at the same time is at christmas, we'd "swap houses" too, downsize at home, upsize the summer place. i'm not much for spending christmas at the coast.
Thank-you for featuring a story on a lovely classic home! Even if Cape Cod real estate prices are beyond reach for most of us, the timeless style shown is inspiring for readers who want to invest in home interiors that will resist looking dated. I enjoy reading about trends, but I can't afford to redecorate every few years. Traditional style, done with a fresh perspective, is a more practical approach for many of us who need to prioritize and live comfortably but within our means. I want to live with lovely things acquired over a lifetime, not something I rushed out to buy because it's the latest fad! Please give us more articles like this!
I bought a very inexpensive slip cover for a 27 year old green striped couch. The couch is very comfortable and except for having outdated fabric, was in great shape. I didn't really like it at first, but with the help of some bedskirt pins, I was able to tailor it to fit the sofa. Now, it looks great - very easy to wash and put back on. Also, keeps the cats from scratching up the arms of the sofa.
